March 13, 2003 Cochin Port poised to close 2002-03 with record handling of 1.6 lakh TEUs Exim India The Cochin Port Trust (CoPT) is poised to establish a new record in container handling this fiscal. The Port expects to surpass the container throughput of 1,60,000 TEUs by this month-end, against 2001-02's throughput level of 1,51,829 TEUs, that was overtaken on March 9.
