December 16, 2003 Dubai sets sail to maritime glory Dubai |By Saifur Rahman, Staff Reporter Dubai's Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) is negotiating with investors and shipowners to build and position cruise vessels in the region, a government official said yesterday. The move could see the first dedicated cruise ship in the Gulf within a very short time, said Awadh Al Seghayer, DTCM's acting manager for cruise terminal.
