March 3, 2003 NOL plans to cut 1,100 jobs globally The Star Online NEPTUNE Orient Lines (NOL) has announced plans to cut up to 1,100 jobs from its worldwide workforce of 12,000 as part of cost cutting measures designed to return the company to profitability.
