NOL plans to cut 1,100 jobs globally

NEPTUNE Orient Lines (NOL) has announced plans to cut up to 1,100
jobs from its worldwide workforce of 12,000 as part of cost cutting
measures designed to return the company to profitability.
Only 350 of the redundancies have been confirmed so far and will
come from NOL's liner, logistics and corporate activities, press
reports said.
