September 22, 2003 (posted Sep. 19) Goa to have state-of-art modern oil terminal PANAJI: A state-of-the-art modern oil terminal of the Zuari Indian Oiltanking Ltd (ZIOL) to be thrown open in two phases, beginning next month, was nearing completion at Sancoale in south Goa, Ziol managing director E P Esteves said on Friday. Addressing a press conference he said the terminal incorporates world-class safety norms and standards, environmental protection and automated equipment. All types of petroleum products -- naphtha, motor spirit, high speed diesel and kerosene -- would be directly transported from ships at the Mormugao Port Trust (MPT) through a pipeline to the terminal, he said. ......
