PSA Corporation is keen to invest and operate a fifth mainland China container terminal in Nansha, at the mouth of the booming Pearl River Delta manufacturing area, and expects nearby Shenzhen terminals to overtake Shanghai in container throughput this year, its new China head revealed.

CHINA will overtake both South Korea and Japan as the world's biggest shipbuilding nation by 2015, leveraging its labour cost advantages and productivity improvements, but must cut manpower and reduce its reliance on foreign expertise, industry experts say.
