February 5, 2004 Port of the Americas proposals due June 1 - Puerto Rico Puerto Rico's government is calling for proposals on June 1 to design, build, operate and maintain the Port of the Americas project. The port will occupy twin sites at Ponce and Guayanilla, with a maximum capacity of 2.2M TEU/y.
