February 16, 2004 Port cranes tenders to be opened today By NATION Reporter The controversial Sh1.5 billion Kenya Ports Authority tenders for cranes that were cancelled over claims of manipulation by Cabinet ministers are to be opened today. The permanent secretary for Ethics and Governance, Mr John Githongo, cancelled the tendering, saying it was flawed, and recommended fresh bidding.
