February 18, 2004 Shahi Shipping To Commission 1st Phase Of Dry-dock Facility At Alibaug Kailash Rajwadkar MUMBAI, FEB 17: Shahi Shipping is planning to commission the first phase of its dry-dock facility at Alibaug in Maharashtra by January 2005. The dry-dock spread over 35 acres will call for an overall investment of Rs 200 crore spread over three phases. The first phase, however, will cost Rs 10 crore, having a capacity for dry docking 3-4 vessels per month of 4,000 DWT (dead weight tonnage), SK Shahi, chairman and managing director, Shahi Shipping said.
