Draft deal could end 22-day national ports strike

Talks between representatives of the Finance Ministry and the Histadrut labor federation to end the 22-day port strike lasted into the late hours last night.
The talks, part of an arbitration effort by Judge Steve Adler, president of the National Labor Court, yielded a draft agreement under which port workers would go back to work and the government would not implement the new Ports Law for 120 days
