July 21, 2004 IMB denies exaggerating piracy figures THE ICC International Maritime Bureau (IMB) has denied inflating piracy reports in the Malacca Strait, as alleged by Indonesian Navy chief Bernard Sondakh. IMB director P Mukundan said: "Every incident we report comes to us from a frontline victim, a ship’s master. We always pass on such reports to the nearest law enforcement agency.
