Oil Majors Join Forces in Siberia

TNK-BP plans to cooperate with LUKoil and state-run Rosneft to develop Siberian oil and gas fields after TNK-BP bought four exploration units to boost reserves.
TNK-BP, in which BP holds a 50 percent stake, bought four units from Slavneft that hold licenses to fields with 830 million barrels of oil and 117 billion cubic meters of gas reserves in the Bolshekhetskaya deposit, TNK-BP said in a statement
