March 22, 2004 New LNG projects to cost $30bn: Attiyah Doha: Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Energy and Industry, H E Abdullah bin Hamad Al Attiyah, yesterday said major LNG projects being planned will require the massive investment of $30bn, including the cost of production field development, plant construction, port expansion, the building of huge carriers as well as the receiving terminal infrastructure in new consumer markets.
