April 23, 2004 Modern Terminals denies takeover of CSX facility Keith Wallis Modern Terminals has denied any moves to take over or use Kwai Chung's Container Terminal 3 which is operated by CSX World Terminals. There has been speculation Modern Terminals might move in after CSX World Terminals lost its biggest customer, South Korea's Hanjin Shipping, to Li Ka-shing's Hongkong International Terminals last month. There have also been suggestions Maersk SeaLand, the only other major CSX World Terminals customer, will move out in the summer, when its existing five-year agreement expires.
