September 8, 2004 Spain Offers To Aid Turkey Over Sunken Ship's Toxic Cargo AFP: 9/8/2004 MADRID, Sept 8 (AFP) - Spain said Wednesday it is ready to help Turkey to dispose of some 2,200 tonnes of cancer-causing power station waste on board a vessel which sank earlier this week in southeastern Turkey.
