May 16, 2005 Shipping ministry asked to re-tender container yard construction The cabinet committee on purchase at a meeting on Sunday asked the shipping ministry to float tender again for contracting out the construction work of a container yard at the Chittagong port, citing procedural irregularities. ‘The procedure to assess the project cost was not clear and it was not also signed by the contractor.
