July 6, 2005 Iran’s largest oceangoing vessel launched in China Tehran Times Economic Desk TEHRAN - China launched Iran’s largest oceangoing vessel, Iran Tabas. "A Panamax cargo ship, Iran Tabas is one of the series of five oceangoing vessels ordered by Iran to be built in a shipyard plant in China’s Shanghai Port.
