- Global union warns of abuses of seafarers
A new report by global union, the International Transport Workers' Federation , has warned of the 'hidden horror' of routine human rights abuses of seafarers due to systemic failures in the international regulatory process.

THE vast majority of British ports - including Southampton, Immingham and Port Talbot - are poised to fall into foreign hands with an agreed bid from a consortium led by American bankers Goldman Sachs close to completion, according to a report in The Guardian.
