Port delays cause ship freight to shoot up

MUMBAI, MAR 27: Energy-hungry India will pay higher in coming days for coal transportation. The shortage of ships and port delays have resulted in spiralling freight. According to industry sources, vessel queues at Newcastle, the Australia river port and the largest coal port of the world, reached record levels and were in excess of 70 vessels ......
