March 14, 2007 MPs pass ports privatisation deal By mohammed al a'ali MPs eased Finance Ministry fears yesterday when they voted in favour of a deal to privatise Bahrain's ports. Parliament was halted mid-session last week when a vote on a Royal Decree handing over the running of Mina Salman and the upcoming Shaikh Khalifa bin Salman Port to APM Terminals Bahrain was deadlocked at 17-17.
