- Consortium of PSC, German company plans to manage Khasab port

- MUSCAT -- A consortium consisting of Port Services Corporation,
which manages the Sultan Qaboos Port, and Germany's IQ Martrade have
received an initial government acceptance to manage Khasab port in
Musandam Governorate. “A memorandum of understanding (MoU)
will be signed with the government for managing Khasab port. Our
plan is to form a joint venture with the German firm (to manage the
port),” said Rajesh Khanna (pictured), business development
and marketing manager of PSC. This is part of the port's strategy to
manage and operate other ports within the country and outside
