- Broadband network launched for ships in port
THE Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA), Infocomm Development Authority (IDA) and QMax Communications yesterday launched the world's first wireless broadband network for vessels within a port.
- Daewoo Shipbuilding profit jumps 5-fold
Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering Co, the world's third-largest shipbuilder, said profit jumped almost fivefold in January as the company built more vessels at higher prices.
