EU competition chief Neelie Kroes gave the Polish government a
few more days to decide whether the country accepts the EC's
proposed plan regarding the shipyards

- European Union competition chief Neelie Kroes gave Poland a
couple of days to answer whether the country has accepted the EC's
proposal on how to rescue the Gdynia and Szczecin shipyards. If
Poland fails to answer, the shipyards will have to pay back the
state aid, leading to their bankruptcy
