Council chiefs have objected to multimillion-pound plans to
expand a container port in Southampton.

- Plans for the £600m “super-port” at Dibden
Bay, near the New Forest, were blocked by the government in 2004.

At the time Hampshire County Council objected to the plan. On Monday
night it reaffirmed its position
