- Project to guide the choice of training students to professions in the world Genoese maritime and port
- The "Crafts of the Sea", sponsored by the City of Genoa, was presented today at the Genoa Port Center
Guide the choice of training young students to professions in the world maritime and port is the goal of the new project "Professional of the Sea" sponsored by the City of Genoa along with other organizations committed to youth training and guidance such as the Academy Italian Merchant Marine and the Genoa Port Center (GPC) with the Province of Genoa. The initiative, aimed at secondary school level, has the intent to affect the boys in these subjects to recover and develop the maritime vocation of Genoa.
- The project involves the construction of the video "The trades of the sea", downloadable from the web, which will focus on various professionals related to the sea and, in particular on two aspects of the functional-port system: its structure and the various logistics professionalism associated with it, or organization and work.
- Furthermore, the initiative provides for the promotion and implementation of orientation meetings with the professionalism of the sea achieved at the level of municipality or school district under the photo exhibition entitled "shared place". Will be treated, in particular, the profiles of skills, training and employment opportunities that will be taken up briefly in a brochure and also illustrated through the direct testimony of young players. Particular attention will be given to the training of high specialization of the Italian Merchant Marine.
- The project was presented today at the Genoa Port Center by Mario Margins (Councillor for Labour policies of the Municipality of Genoa), Marco Castagna (Director of the Foundation Muvita) Massolo Eugenio (president of the Italian Merchant Marine), Geronimo Fish ( political leaders in the work of the Municipality of Genoa), Graziella Sperindio (direction Educational policies of the Municipality of Genoa) and Riccardo Degl'Innocenti (Director of Special Projects staff of the Province of Genoa).
