- Record freight transport by air in Germany
- Last year it reached 4.2 million tons
 In 2010, freight transport by air in Germany for the first time exceeded the threshold of four million tonnes (including airmail) to reach the record volume of 4,204,491 tons, an increase of 22.7% compared to 2009 . Goods shipped on cargo aircraft amounted to 2,168,092 tonnes (+23.6%) and landed at 2,036,399 tonnes (+20.0%). The exports totaled 2,062,601 tonnes (+25.5%), imports 1,930,518 tonnes (+21.6%) and domestic traffic at 211,372 tonnes (-3.6%).
