- The Propeller Club of Genoa questions the Italian logistics crisis
- Meeting scheduled for March 15
The The International Propeller Club Port of Genoa has held for the 15th March at 19:30 at the Hotel Bristol in Genoa on Via XX Settembre, a meeting on "The crisis of Italian logistics - The scenario of interest: North Africa and the Mediterranean - Logistics Costs dysfunction: The Crisis and the logistics efficiency alibi - fills sea port inadequate solutions (self-financing, financial independence, power, port systems, ecological sustainability, loss of service to Northern Italy).
- Anticipating the theme of the meeting, the Propeller Club of Genoa found that in the evolution of the major shipping ports of final destination of 8-10 million TEUs are now the natural home of logistics because they meet and is managed both transport by sea to land. This Italy is totally lacking, and this keeps the edges of large logistics organizations and the incentive to look only to the past, with logic and sizes exceeded.
- The enormous changes that took place today in the transport comes from the dimensional shift traffic over the last 40 years have seen an increase in the movement of containers in Europe and 70 times the size of the ship 15 times. The consequences of this growth appear to be dramatic and affect the entire logistics process.
- Guest speaker will be Bruno Musso, President of the Group Grendi Spa
