- Ci permettiamo di consigliare agli spedizionieri, al cluster
portuale e alle istituzioni genovesi un po' di prudenza. Senza
entrare nel merito di molti progetti e iniziative menzionati oggi
nel corso dell'assemblea di Spediporto e dati per acquisiti, ci
limitiamo ad osservare che la quasi totalità di queste opere
e programmi non sono stati attuati e neppure avviati e non hanno
nemmeno una copertura finanziaria.

- Siamo ben consci che la recente grave crisi economica abbia
cambiato le carte in tavola. Tuttavia quello a cui stiamo assistendo
è sintomo di schizofrenia. C'è, ad esempio, nel
settore portuale italiano e nella stessa comunità portuale
genovese chi prospetta scenari di crescita del traffico dei
container a due cifre e la necessità di realizzare nuove
opere per soddisfare la domanda e chi lascia intendere che le
attuali infrastrutture portuali potrebbero essere sufficienti per
soddisfare le necessità negli anni a venire. Maliziosamente
potremmo osservare che tale analisi genovese rischia di infliggere
un colpo mortale al nascendo terminal del gruppo Maersk a Vado
Ligure.

osserviamo inoltre che l'analisi del direttivo di Spediporto appare
essere censoria solamente nei confronti dell'autotrasporto, accusato
di essere «il settore che in assoluto ha ricevuto di più
dallo Stato in termini di agevolazioni, contributi ed interventi
normativi». Al di là della scelta dell'associazione di
avvalersi dei risultati di uno studio dell'amministrazione
governativa statunitense, che appare fuorviante alla luce delle
enormi differenze che intercorrono tra il sistema geo-economico
italiano e quello americano, ci limitiamo a rilevare che
l'autotrasporto continuerà ad essere per molti anni uno dei
principali servizi di cui il porto di Genova si dovrà
avvalere e che, nonostante ciò, il capoluogo ligure non è
ancora riuscito a dotarsi di un semplice autoparco.
