 In yesterday's meeting of the Committee of the Port Authority of Naples was presented the draft of the new Triennial Operational Plan 2011-2013, which document concerns the development strategies of port activities and actions to ensure compliance with the targets for the next three years. The Port Authority has shown that 'the awareness of the strategic and economic value of the document, which is intertwined with the Port Master Plan, was launched as a comparison participatory approach will be extended to local institutions and trade unions, since the next challenges will be addressed by giving value not only to strategic infrastructure projects, whose implementation should be shared and supported at local level, to facilitate the development of trade, but also the component of employment protection that takes place in the port. - In addition, the Port Committee decided to initiate the procedural process for the preparation of integrated port security report to outline the risks of accidents related to the presence in the port of certain industrial sites.
- At the meeting were also identified measures to be adopted to solve the vexed problem of insufficiency of service to passengers boarding the Beverello to the islands of the Gulf, with the increased surveillance by the presence of staff of the Port Authority and the execution of maintenance and infrastructure for better organization of the maritime station.
