- It is the time value of 40 euro compensation for waiting for loading and unloading of goods
- The amount was determined by the Centre on road transport activities
 The Observatory on road transport activities, which met last Tuesday, has established the euro in 40 hourly value of compensation due to drivers for exceeding the period of exemption to the waiting time for loading and unloading of goods. The compensation payable to the carrier for each hour or fraction of hours in excess of the exemption period was determined according to art. 6-bis, paragraph 2, of Decree-law 6 July 2010, No 103, ratified by Law 127/2010 (  of 25 March 2011).
- The following are the hourly labor costs and the detention of the vehicle in respect of which compensation has been defined and the methodology employed to determine the amount.

- Calculation Methodology
- Average working time per week inclusive of overtime:
hours 45/settimana
45ore X 48 weeks. = 2160 hours
Average cost of labor including the thirteenth, fourteenth, travel, overtime, and last updated contract.
- Amortization: calculated for 6 years as the average life of a vehicle, with residual value of 0%, and the purchase price calculated by averaging the sales prices of vehicles to date:
- Tractor (75,000 €)
- Two-axle semi-trailer (50,000) with a body of specialized media.
- Ownership tax: amounts calculated based on rates established by special decree of the MEF (1,400 €)
Insurance: Premiums considered refer to the Civil Liability and Auto Liability Vector (9,600 €).
- Maintenance costs related to the average age of the fleet in Italy.
- Based on the above data, the Centre has determined the amount of compensation to € 40 per hour.
