- The Italian Government confirms its support for the project UniCredit superporto of Trieste and Monfalcone
- Undersecretary to the Prime Minister, Gianni Letta, will assume the role of director of the initiative
The overhaul of the general framework established in 2008 between the government and the Region of Friuli Venezia Giulia region's strategic infrastructure, which will be done by next summer, will be included also the themes of the port, above the superporto of Trieste and Monfalcone .
