- Understanding the work in the port of Trieste
- The Port Authority is committed to achieving the commitments and to accelerate the return to the airport
Yesterday the Port Authority of Trieste and the unions reached an agreement that allows for immediate termination of the strike and any other form of agitation at the airport, Julian. This was announced by the port authority stating that it will work "with all possible means for achieving the commitments under relevant agreements, and at the same time to ensure that the resumption of activities at the airport is fast and secure, and also undertakes to help operators to recover the diverted traffic these days. "
- The arrest of a few days of the port was determined by the workers' protest, which started by the Cooperative Spring and then extended to the other port workers, which was centered on the loads and working conditions and tariffs. In particular, workers were asked to identify a single individual to put an end to the fragmentation of the provision of port work.
- The agreement reflects this request foreshadowing the creation of a working port and provides that employees of the companies whose business falls in 16 (port operations and port services) of Act No. 84 of 1994 will meet in the companies operating under the provisions of Article 17 of the Act (regulating the provision of port work permit), which involves identifying tender of a firm operating exclusively in the provision of temporary work in port. The agreement is subject to approval of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport.
