- New plant for storage and handling of frozen Interporto Rivalta Scrivia

 The Freight Rivalta Scrivia was equipped with a new automated system for storage and handling of frozen products. The plant, which involved a total investment of over four million, has a capacity of 30,000 cubic meters for the storage and handling of fresh and frozen, total capacity about 5,000 pallets of stock and flow in / out of 120 pallets per hour thanks to the stacker trucks and roller CNC interfaced through a computer specialist in the management of industrial processes (PLC - Programmable Logic Controller), warehouse management system (WMS - Warehouse Management System).
- More specifically, the new plant consists of three blocks, a main building used as a cold, a building about 250 square meters secondary ANTICELL and finally used as a building where are located the engine room and control room.The cooling part is also divided into two cells of identical volume, solution to provide maximum flexibility to the premises, which can be handled at the same temperature or different temperatures (depending on the type of products - fresh or frozen - which is necessary to keep) . The safety of new logistics infrastructure is provided by a centralized system run by a dedicated PLC is able to activate automatically in case of anomalies, the various levels of security provided by telephone and notify the plant operators.
- With the entry into operation of the new plant infrastructures of cold storage (at room temperature, packaged, fresh or frozen) Interporto Rivalta Scrivia now exceeds 250 thousand square meters.
- Overall Interport Rivalta Scrivia occupies an area of 1.25 million square meters in the province of Alessandria.
