- Introduced the first tourist map of the port of Genoa
- Genoa Port Map has been prepared to introduce the joint and the richness of the port to all "non-employees to work"
 Today the Palazzo San Giorgio, home of the Port Authority of Genoa was "Genoa Port Map", the first tourist map of the port of Genoa designed to raise awareness of the articulation and richness of the port to all "non-professionals to work", citizens, tourists and students. With the new map of the Genoa Port Center (GPC) and the Port Authority continue the work after the birth of the Genoa Port Center in 2009 with the aim of opening to the general public the port of Genoa, reaffirming the importance of the link between the airport and the land and helping to break down the wall separating ideal that has always Genoa and Liguria to be one of the spots, the first engine of its economic development but also a place of innovation, history, culture and identity.-
- La mappa è stata realizzata a partire da quella già
esistente, di proprietà dell'Autorità Portuale, che ha
però un taglio molto tecnico e risultava difficilmente
leggibile da chi, come la maggior parte dei cittadini e dei turisti,
non conosce in prima persona la complessità dello scalo.

- Genoa Port Map si presenta come un'enorme piantina multicolor
con foto e didascalie che ritraggono aziende, edifici storici,
banchine e pontili divisi per aree industriali, turistiche,
commerciali facilmente riconoscibili, rendendo i 18 chilometri di
lunghezza del porto un luogo affascinate da conoscere e riconoscere.

- I turisti e tutti i cittadini liguri potranno trovare
all'interno della mappa una serie di informazioni - in italiano e in
inglese - utili ad accedere ai servizi che permettono di scoprire il
porto di Genova via mare - Giro del porto in battello, Navebus e
visita guidata grazie al Genoa Port Center - e i luoghi della città
(dalla Lanterna di Genova a Spianata Castelletto) da dove è
possibile vedere e conoscere il porto in tutta la sua estensione e
complessità, con tanto di indicazione dei mezzi grazie ai
quali raggiungerli.

- Per completare il quadro Genoa Port Map offre i numeri più
significativi sul porto - 300 porti collegati in 100 Paesi diversi,
11.000 addetti diretti e 40.000 circa dell'indotto e 20 terminal
attrezzati per accogliere ogni tipo di merce - un po' di storia, a
partire dall'epoca romana, e un cenno ai toponimi del porto, per
recuperare la tradizione e destare curiosità.
