- Brointermed Lines restores regular services on the main Libyan ports
- In a first phase will be guaranteed the ports on commercial ports
The British company Brointermed Lines, following the recent positive socio-political developments in Libya, has decided to restore regular service on the main ports in addition to the Libyan link to Benghazi, already active since last April, is from Northern Europe (UK, Germany, Holland, Belgium) and from the Mediterranean (La Spezia, Salerno, Malta).
- In a first phase will be guaranteed the ports on commercial ports (Tripoli, Misurata and Benghazi), while for the secondary ports (Marsa el Brega, Ras Lanuf) the company reserves the right to resume as soon as possible after the normal operation is guaranteed.
- The first start will be made with the ship Leptis Star, scheduled Sept. 25 in Northern Europe, and Sestri Star, scheduled in La Spezia on October 3.
