- Meeting between the presidents of the ports of Miami and Livorno
- Signed a letter of intent
The President of the Port of Miami, Bill Johnson, has come on a visit to Livorno, where he met with President of the Port Authority Leghorn, Giuliano Gallanti, with whom he signed a letter of intent focused on finding solutions for the joint implementation information technology and quality of security in port. The goal is to sign a specific Memorandum of Understanding in January on the occasion of "Wine and Fashion Week", a project coordinated by the Region of Tuscany, led by the town of Pontefract, to promote local excellence in the United States.
- "The Port of Miami - said Johnson - has every interest in strengthening its position in Italy and for this reason that Leghorn would like to become a reference of our ports in the Mediterranean."
