- Holding UCL buys 75% of Freight One, the main railway society Russian cargo

 The Russian society Universal Cargo Holding Logistics (UCL Holding) that work logistic, marine, navalmeccaniche, railway and harbor activities, has acquired to the auction, through the society Independent Transport Co., 75% of capital stock less two sets in action of the JSC Freight One, the main Russian railway company of the up to now integrally controlled field cargo from the group Russian Railways. The quota is bought for 125,5 billion rubles (2,98 billion euros).-
- In the first nine months of this year Freight One it has transported 221,5 million tons of goods, with an increment of 7% on the same period of 2010. Draft of 77,3 million tons of coal (+5.6%), 50,8 million oil tons of producing (- to 8.6%), 19,1 million tons of minerals (+1.9%), 22,2 million tons of materials from construction (+88.5%), 15,1 million tons of ferrous metals, 3,8 million tons of chemicals and to fertilizers (+1.7%) and 3,3 million tons of coke (+5.4%).

- While Holding UCL has announced the constitution of a division dedicated to the sun harbor activities that are reunited under brand UCL Port. In new society by right Dutch UCL Port BV they meet the branches Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg, Container Terminal Saint-Petersburg (former Fourth Stevedoring Co.), SP Container Terminal, Universal Handling Complex, Tuapse Sea Commercial Port and Taganrog Sea Commercial Port.
