 In the course of the today's reunion of the Harbor Committee of Livorno the president of the harbor agency, Giuliano Gallanti, has announced that within April the levelling of the backdrops of the basin of evolution of the port in order to allow the maneuver with ships of length pairs to 336 meters and of the width of 42 meters will be completed. "In these days - Gallanti has said - I have collected from some shipowners the requirements to concentrate on the ports of the peninsula units greater than those which until little time makes they crowded the Mare nostrum. To April we will already have to be ready to receive them. It is clearly that without adequate grounds the port of Livorno does not go from no part".-
- In topic of dredgings the Harbor Committee has approved of the cancellation of the deliberation n. 33 of 25 October 2011 that previewed the confidence directed to the Center Interuniversitario di Biologia Marina and Ecologia applied to the sea, "I guide Bacci", of the necessary carotaggi to the planning of the intense activities of dredging of the harbor areas. "Be a matter of intense activities and of services publics - Gallanti has explained - we will not have to proceed to the indiction of formal contests for the start of the geophysical and environmental investigations in the harbor areas of reference. But the intense activities of dredging of the Tuscany Dock and the basin of evolution will not endure large delays". The president of the Harbor Authority in fact has specified that already in the next few days a contest procedure will be started, a selection without previa ban publication, between 10 interested subjects, for the effettuazione of the intense activities of characterization of the grounds of the area to dredge. Gallanti has explained that two months will want in order to analyze the offers to us and to proceed to the award, and ulterior three months for the completion of the intense activities; after that the procedures of contest for the real dredgings leave.

"The direct potenziamento of railway infrastructures - Gallanti has explained - will allow to eliminate the times of maneuver from the Terminal Tuscany Dock to Livorno-Calambrone, and to directly compose in Tuscany Dock the Terni block that will be conveyed towards the tirrenica and successively instradati on the line to high Florence-Bologna ability. In this way they will come remarkablly reduced the shipping charges".
- Moreover during the sitting of the Committee two concessions are approved of: the first, an area of 37 thousand square meters inside of the Morosini Dock, is released in favor of the society Benetti Azimut; the second one goes in favor of the Sant'Anna High school of University Studies and Improvement of Pisa that has like object a premises of 134 square meters to the advanced plan of the former warehouse Tobaccos, on the Pisa Descent, that it will be used for two years like laboratory of search and analysis. At last concessions to the two nautical circles are released Turret and Arcs fish Blue Barracuda.
