- Cgil genoese asks Cisl, Uil and sussiste institutions if an univocal engagement on the future of the ship yard of Sestri

 In sight of the encounter on the reorganization of the navalmeccanico group Fincantieri with the minister of the economic Development, infrastructures and the transports, Corrado Passera, Cgil - Trade union office of Genoa has sent to the local institutions and the unions Cisl and Uil a letter, that we publish below, in which the union intends to verify before the encounter "if the conditions of a common reading of the situation still exist" and - the missive - "of an equally univocal engagement" continues on the future of the genoese ship yard of Sestri West.-
- In the missive Cgil genoese has evidenced that in the letter 14th December to the minister Passera, commonly undersigned from institutions and unions, "referring to the Agreement of Program on the so-called "upset to sea" of the yard of signed Sestri the slid summer, were emphasized the necessity of a redistribution of workloads between the several productive sites of Fincantieri to the aim to avoid the announced redundancy fund for the workers of that truth", while the agreement undersigned 21st December, than is not signed by Fiom-Cgil

of 22 December 2011), "evidences the absolute incoherence between how much undersigned from Fincantieri in the Agreement of Program and its real lines of address for near future". Cgil genoese in fact has emphasized that, with the new agreement, "the yard of Sestri West comes definitively therefore excluded from the marine construction fleeting". -

- In the letter from we commonly undersigned 14 last December to the Minister Corrado Passera, referring to the Agreement of Program on the so-called "upset to sea" of the Yard of signed Sestri the slid summer, was emphasized the necessity of a redistribution of workloads between the several productive sites of Fincantieri to the aim to avoid the announced Redundancy fund for the workers of that truth. Always with reference to the cited Agreement of Program, the Fincantieri to the engagement assumed with the signature was recalled to use own systems during the development of the filling intense activities. In synthesis, clear objectives and respect of the signed Agreement.

- We concluded the letter with the demand for an encounter to the Minister in order to face the problem of the distribution of workloads and the Industrial Plan.

- In the light of these positions, the reading of the Minutes of Agreement undersigned 21 last December in the Fincantieri Group near the Ministry of the Job, and in particular of the Plan of Business Reorganization that is part some integrating, evidences the absolute incoherence between how much undersigned from Fincantieri in the Agreement of Program and its real lines of address for near future.

- Point 4 of the Floor that goes under the title of "I rearrange of the factory system" determines "integration between the productive sites of the destined Adriatic to the planning and construction of the fleeting ships" and continuing that "the sites of Monfalcone, Marghera and Ancona maintain their mission productive". The yard of Sestri West comes definitively therefore excluded from the marine construction fleeting that until now has been its main activity and its greater professional patrimony.

- To Article 2 of the Agreement of Program (Object of the Agreement of Program) law on the contrary that between the purposes of the same one it is the "realization from Fincantieri, in the area obtained from the filling of the watery mirror, of productive structures for the navalmeccaniche activities also to innovative character". Also to the Art. 3 of the Agreement of Program (Engagements of the subject underwriters) Fincantieri have restated with the signature this engagement "to use the area obtained from the filling of the watery mirror" with "a plan of industrial activity that guarantees the maintenance of the navalmeccaniche activities, also to innovative character".

To these conditions the only possible productive outlet second the Company is the "plan TO PUT MOLDING ON" that "in case it was realized on condition" however of an interest and therefore of an economic appropriation of the local and regional Institutions, "would favor meaningful fallen back productive and occupational in both sites".

- In Point 9 that constitutes with the attached tables the prospect of the investments for biennium 2012-2013, the Company is if possible more explicit anchor approximately the effective classified destiny to the yard of Sestri. On a total investment of 102 mln of Euro to the Plant of Sestri the completion of the under way activities and the putting in safety of the yard comes destined the amount of 0,4 mln (400,000) Euros in order "only".

- In already cited Art. 3 of the Agreement of Program (Engagements of the subject underwriters), Fincantieri has on the contrary signed that "the Fincantieri is moreover engaged to use own systems during the development of the intense activities of filling in relation to the productive requirements, sempreché sussistano conditions top security and adapted logistic".

- Beyond these evident contradictions that will go however you deepen during institutional encounters between the several subjects underwriters the Agreement of Program and trade-union for how much of our competence, the image that us delivery the delivered Floor of Business Reorganization to the Ministry of the Job to support of the Agreement on the CIGS of 21 December, is a Yard of private Sestri of its productive mission in the field of the shipbuilding, put "in safety", that is desert in order at least the next biennium, object of a plan of "upset" for its uncertain nature in the times of realization and to the term of which according to the interest and of perhaps money allocated from the Local authorities will be possible to start the construction of the plan TO PUT MOLDING ON. In lack of this, according to the conditions of market of the moment and/or the ability to Fincantieri to place in new fields (Aeolic, platforms offshore of miscellaneous type, etc) all however very far from the navalmeccanica activity and sure equally distant from being able to guarantee adequate levels of occupation, comparable to the current ones, the Company reserve to decide what to make of and in the yard.

- All this considered, ignoring the difficulties of unitary relationships that the separate subscription of the Agreement of 21 December has determined, in sight of the announced encounter with the Minister Corrado Passera, we do not intend to verify preventively between the subject underwriters of the letter of 14 December, in the ways and the forms that you will consider more opportune, if the conditions of a common reading of the situation and of an equally univocal engagement still exist on the future of the Yard and regarding the unitarally already advanced demands that they will have to be discussed in the encounter.
