- Middle Eastern group GAC has acquired the activities in the marine field of the Danish Lehmann Nordic

- Five offices in Denmark, Sweden and Norway pass of hand

 Group GAC (Gulf Agency Company) of Dubai has acquired all the societies of the Danish group Lehmann Nordic (LN) that operate in the marine field. Draft of the three branches Lehmann Shipping A/S (to which the societies Lehmann Junior A/S, Joship AB, Transweco Projects & Chartering AB, Transweco AB, Transweco Agency AB and Scanweco AS), Christian Jensen Shipping A/S and Lehmann Shipping Center A/S are under responsibility. The acquisition previews the passage of property of five offices, of which three in Denmark (two to Copenhagen and one to Aarhus), in Sweden and in Norway in which 45 people work altogether.-
- GAC has emphasized that the acquisition will allow with the group to increase own presence in the Scandinavian region. "Up to now - the vice president for Europe of the group has explained, Ivo Verheyen - GAC operated in the region through partner and agents. Now the apt moment has reached finally in order to establish to us in order to assure a more rigorous control and the respect of the standards here.
