- Saipem adjudicates onshore contracts E&C for approximately 600 million dollars

Saipem has adjudicated onshore contracts E&C for a value of approximately 600 million dollars. Last month, in Saudi Arabia, the Italian company has obtained from the associate of SABIC Safco (Saudi Arabian Fertilizer Company) the contract keys in hand for the plan "Safco V" that previews the fifth expansion of the industrial park of Al-Jubail through the realization of a new system for the urea production, situated approximately 100 kilometers to north of Dammam, on the coast oriental of Saudi Arabia.-
- The contract comprises engineering, supplying and the construction of a system with a manufacturing capacity of 3.250 tons of urea to the day, based on Snamprogetti technology, along with the relative units of production of services and structures of connection with the already existing systems.

- The plan will be completed in the first half of 2014. Moreover Saipem has negotiates various increments of the scope of the job on existing contracts onshore.
