In the 2011 harbor system of Amsterdam, constituted from the ports of Amsterdam, Ijmuiden, Beverwijk and Zaanstad, it has enlivened a traffic of beyond 92 million tons, with a progression of 2% approximately regarding the year precedence.-
- In the single port of Amsterdam the traffic has been of approximately 74,8 million tons, in increase of 3% approximately on 2010, of which 50,4 million tons in import (+3.2%) and 24,4 million tons in export (+2.5%). The oil traffic is piled to altogether 37,1 million tons (+9%). In the field of the bulk sand banks the coal has grown of 9% to 15,5 million tons while the agricultural bulk is diminished of 12% almost eight million tons. The traffic ro-ro is increased of 9% to 900 thousand tons, that of the container instead is dropped of 28% to beyond 600 thousand tons.
