- Kawasaki complete Heavy Industries Ltd. the fed plan for a portacontainer from 9.000 teu to LNG

The Japanese navalmeccanico group Kawasaki Heavy Industries Ltd. (KHI) has completed a plan for the construction of portacontainer of the cargo ability equipped pairs to 9.000 teu of a fed system of propulsion to which liquefied natural gas. The society of classification Det Norske Veritas (DNV) has explained that the plan, to which it has given own approval in principle, previews that the fuel LNG is stoccato low-pressure in insulated prismatic reserviors of type B that for the first time are proposed for a large one portacontainer. Draft of various reserviors from the cylindrical tanks in pressure of type C and that - has specified DNV - they at best use the space available thanks to their prismatic form.-
- The new ship from 9.000 teu will have a length of 308 meters, a width of 48,4 meters, a draft of 14,5 meters and the reserviors for the fuel LNG will have an ability to 7.000 cubic meters.
