-
- "We knew Damen as repair yard - the managing director of the Kotug has explained, Ard-Jan Kooren - and now we know it also for the constructions. This is the first time that we have collaborated with Damen in a plan of new constructions. Damen has a pocketbook. We had urgent necessity of new tugs in order to replace some of the old tugs that we have sold and Damen had them ready. Over two weeks we have had our tugs. The short time of delivery and the quality has been the key factors to persuade to us to invest at the same time in the three tugs".
-
- Damen has specified that the three tugs were realized by own Rumanian yard Damen Shipyards Galati and that the branch Damen Services has taken care of their transport from Galati to Rotterdam, where is prepared for the delivery for Kotug.
