For the port of call of the capital of Liguria the participations, illustrated with the president of the Harbour Authority of Genoa, Luigi Merlo, regard the functional recovery of descent mineral Oils and the widening of Bettolo descent, the requalification of the harbour zone from Benghazi descent to English descent, the widening of the terminal containers of the piers Ronco and Canepa and the activities of dredging of the harbour area.

Teasing and Merlon they have remembered that the descent recovery mineral Oils and the widening of Bettolo descent is commissioned by the Harbour Authority genoese and financed with 144,6 million euros coming from deep civil servants (91,2 million) and deep of the Harbour Authority (53,4 million). Work, begun in June 2009, will conclude 2017 in May. The project comprises marine structures, civil and system and allows the birth of a great terminal for handling of the container. The work, in fact, realizes a new dock to south, that it closes the watery mirror comprised between Rubattino bridge and Canzio descent, using beyond two millions and a half of cubic metres of coming detritus from the harbour dredgings, and a series of docks in the area the west, that they form the new technical dock, the dock south and the rear large square. The widening of Bettolo Descent will realize a large square of 180 thousand square metres and will be able to per year accommodate a containerized trade volume pairs to 800 thousand teu. The new one I approach of the terminal container it will be along 760 meters and it will afford the berthing of the container vessels of last generation, that they measure 330 meters. To work concluded the port of Genoa will be able to have also of new watery mirror dedicated to the technical dock/pole of bunkeraggio of 22 thousand square metres.

The requalification of the genoese harbour zone from Benghazi descent to English descent is commissioned by the Authority Harbour and financed with 21,8 million euros coming from deep civil servants (3,6 million) and deep of the Harbour Authority (18,2 million). The work, begun to November 2011, will conclude 2017 in February. The participations regard the commercial port of Genoa Sampierdarena, the historical port, and consist mainly in a complex of works for rearrange and the potenziamento of the system of road and railway infrastructures and in the increment of the technological systems. The work is behind schedule for the tempering of a weapon in the areas of Tripoli descent. From March 2014 it has been a partial suspension of the work in order to proceed to the war reclamation prescribed the Corps of Engineers. The work still is partially suspended.

The widening of the terminal containers of the piers Ronco and Canepa is commissioned by the Authority Harbour of Genoa and financed with 45,7 million euros coming from deep civil servants (27,8 million) and deep of the Harbour Authority (17,9 million). The work, begun to February 2011, will conclude 2017 in September. A new dock aligned to south with the piers Ronco and Canepa will be realized, situated to the extremities of West of the harbour basin. The dock, with the new obtained rear large square from the filling of the current watery mirror, will allow to obtain approaches of 640 meters and an increment of the areas to earth until about 64 thousand square metres. The useful surface of the terminal will be of 303 thousand square metres and will afford to operate with container vessels of greater dimensions, thanks to the before backdrops the dock that, after the dredging not previewed in the project in course, will be able to reach the -15 meters. The material being necessary for a part of the filling behind the new dock will be proceeds from the dredging of the river mouth of the Polcevera torrent, neighbor to West of the Ronco pier, facilitating so the outflow to sea, now difficult.

Situated between the area of transformation of the old dock and commercial the harbour area, the building has a surface of 1.500 square metres, is wide 23 meters and it is developed for about 63. It is composed of three bodies of factory: a volume to double width (10 meters) that it accommodates the main income and the services of acceptance, connected to the part central, composed of a long bridge structure 28 meters that the railway tracing of access to the port climbs over, with local insides and outdoors of I use municipality. The space leads to the third volume, constituted from a tower to square base of 23 meters of side that accommodates the more representative spaces and that it is developed on seven plans.
