In Italy a preliminary agreement of collaboration between society controlled or participated from the government centralized on the innovation of the harbour structures and on the development of sustainable technologies applied to the marine transport is signed. Signers are Bank of Deposits and Loans (CDP), limited company whose 82.77% of the capital are in the hands of the Ministry of the Economy and of Finances, from the navalmeccanica company Fincantieri, whose 71.64% of the capital are of property of the Fintecna in its turn integrally controlled from Bank of Deposits and Loans, and Snam, society that work in the field of the transport, storage and regasification of the natural gas that is participated to 30.37% from CDP Nets in its turn controlled from Bank of Deposits and Loans that of it 59.10% of the capital possess.

Scope of the understanding, has explained the signers, is to characterize, to define and to realize strategic projects of medium period in some key sectors for the innovation and the development of the harbour structures in Italy, let alone for the development of sustainable technologies applied to the marine transport, online with previewed how much from the Proposal of national Plan integrated for the Energy and Climate (PNIEC).

In particular, the areas object of the agreement, undersigned yesterday to Rome - the ports and the coastal areas regard, in the specific one with construction projects, inside harbour structures or coastal areas, of infrastructures of supplying, transformation and use of natural gas which liquified (GNL) and in transport marine alternative energy sources, the new technologies and innovative energies, with the development of activity of search, development and realization of systems of marine transport based on new technologies (turbines for modules GNL, systems of control and management of methane gaseous liquid and), new innovative electric power supplies (GNL, combustible hydrogen, cells), let alone the fields of engineering, with activity of I confront and sharing of operating models and best practice between the respective directions of engineering and construction, and energy efficiency, with initiatives of efficientamento of the consumption, with particular reference to the fields naval and industrial.

The partner has specified that, for the resolution of the agreement, Fincantieri and Snam they will share own technical competences starting of the dedicated tables of job and CDP will support, from the economic-financial point of view and online with institutional own mission, the projects that have fallen back positive for the benefit of the public interest of the Country. Moreover the understanding will be eventually object of next binding agreements that the parts will define in the respect of the profiles applicable regolators, included there those in matter of operations between correlated parts.

Snam will put on of the Italian harbour system own competences and technologies in the fields of the GNL and the bio-GNL, that they represent the future of sustainable mobility and in particular of the heavy and marine transport".
