Nel terzo trimestre il porto di Hong Kong ha movimentato quasi 5,3 milioni di teu (+1%)
Le importazioni e le esportazioni di container pieni sono diminuite rispettivamente del 5% e del 2%
Nel terzo trimestre di quest'anno il traffico merci nel porto di Hong Kong è stato di 51,8 milioni di tonnellate, con un incremento del 3% rispetto al corrispondente periodo del 2002. Gli sbarchi sono ammontati a 31,5 milioni di tonnellate (+1%), di cui 20,6 milioni di importazioni (-4%) e 11,0 milioni di trasbordi (+13%), mentre gli imbarchi sono ammontati a 20,3 milioni di tonnellate (+5%), di cui 8,9 milioni di esportazioni (+3%) e 11,4 milioni di trasbordi (+6%). Il traffico di origine marittima si è attestato a 36,9 milioni di tonnellate (+1%) e quello di origine fluviale a 14,9 milioni di tonnellate (+6%).
Nel periodo luglio-settembre di quest'anno il porto ha registrato una movimentazione container pari a quasi 5,3 milioni di teu, con una progressione dell'1% sul terzo trimestre del 2002. Il traffico di container pieni è stato di 4,2 milioni di teu (+2%), quello di container vuoti di 1,0 milioni di teu (-6%). Gli sbarchi di container pieni sono stati pari a 1,9 milioni di teu (+4%), di cui 0,9 milioni di teu in importazione (-5%) e 1,0 milioni di teu in transhipment (+13%), mentre gli imbarchi di container pieni sono stati pari a 2,4 milioni di teu (+1%), di cui 1,3 milioni di teu in esportazione (-2%) e 1,1 milioni di teu in transhipment (+5%).
La movimentazione di container pieni di origine marittima è stata pari a 3,2 milioni di teu (-1%), quella di container pieni di origine fluviale a 1,0 milioni di teu (+14%).
