P&O Ports ha concluso il primo trimestre con una movimentazione di 3,2 milioni di teu
In flessione il traffico realizzato da P&O Ferries
Nel primo trimestre di quest'anno i terminal che fanno capo al gruppo P&O Ports hanno totalizzato una movimentazione container pari complessivamente a 3.209.000 teu, con un incremento del 29,7% rispetto allo stesso periodo del 2002. La crescita organica, che non tiene conto delle nuove acquisizioni e partecipazioni - ha precisato oggi il gruppo terminalista - si è attestata a +17%.
P&O Ports ha registrato incrementi di traffico nella gran parte delle aree mondiali in cui opera e in particolare in Europa ed Asia, con volumi record in Cina e India.
Nei primi tre mesi del 2004 P&O Ferries, la divisione traghetti del gruppo britannico P&O, ha trasportato 2,1 milioni di passeggeri (-7,7%), 358mila autovetture e pullman (-7,7%) e 523mila unità di carico (-0,6%).
