8 giugno 2004 In maggio il porto di Marsiglia ha movimentato 8,2 milioni di tonnellate di merci (+0,9%) Aumenti in tutti i comparti, con l'esclusione degli idrocarburi Lo scorso mese il porto di Marsiglia ha totalizzato un traffico di 8,2 milioni di tonnellate di merci, con una progressione dello 0,9% rispetto al mese di maggio del 2003. Tutti i comparti d'attività dello scalo hanno registrato incrementi di traffico, con l'eccezione degli idrocarburi su cui pesa il calo delle importazioni di greggio (in crescita invece i raffinati). Nel settore delle merci varie sono state movimentate 1,3 milioni di tonnellate (+11,2%), di cui 746mila tonnellate di merci containerizzate (+16,0%). La movimentazione container è stata pari a 76.000 teu, con un aumento del 13,4% rispetto al maggio 2003. Le rinfuse secche sono ammontate a 1,5 milioni di tonnellate, con un incremento del 17,5%. Il traffico di idrocarburi è diminuito del 6,3% a 5,1 milioni di tonnellate, mentre quello delle altre rinfuse liquide è cresciuto del 20,5% a 294mila tonnellate.
