L’assemblea annuale di ESPO sarà incentrata sulla futura politica portuale europea
Si terrà l’1 e il 2 giugno a Stoccolma
La prossima assemblea annuale dell’European Sea Ports Organisation (ESPO) sarà incentrata sulla futura politica portuale europea alla luce del recente ritiro del progetto di direttiva sul mercato dei servizi portuali (inforMARE
dell’8 marzo 2006).
All’evento, che si svolgerà l’1 e il 2 giugno a Stoccolma parteciperanno il vicepresidente della Commissione Europea, Jacques Barrot, e l’europarlamentare Georg Jarzembowski, relatore del progetto di legge sui servizi portuali. Tre genovesi interverranno alla conferenza: il presidente di ESPO, Giuliano Gallanti, il presidente dell’Autorità Portuale di Genova, Giovanni Novi, e il professor Enrico Musso dell’Università di Genova.
Il primo giorno della conferenza sarà dedicato al valore dei porti per l’Europa e al ruolo delle autorità portuali. Il secondo giorno sarà suddiviso in tre sessioni tematiche nelle quali verranno affrontati i temi degli investimenti per i porti, dello sviluppo sostenibile dei porti e del ruolo dei porti nella catena logistica, argomenti che - ha spiegato ESPO - potranno costituire le basi della politica portuale europea.

Conference Dinner at the Vasa museum
The ESPO 2006 Conference Dinner takes place at the world-famous Vasa Museum. The museum was inaugurated in 1990 and houses the warship Vasa - the only intact 17th century ship remaining in the world. The wreck, salvaged in 1961, is now once again a complete ship. Conference delegates will be able to take part in a guided tour of the museum.The Romeo and Juliet choir of the Royal Dramatic Theatre will perform during the dinner hosted by the Association Ports of Sweden. |
