- Stradeblu suspend the line ro-pax Livorno-Olbia
- Although the Tar has welcomed its two actions the company stop the service pending the effective restoration of competitive conditions in the Sardinian port of call
Despite the victories obtained so far on the front court, Stradeblu (group Corsica Sardinia Ferries) decided to suspend its online ro-pax Livorno-Olbia leaving the Sardinian port at least until they have actually restored the conditions of competition.
- The Regional Administrative Court of Sardinia, with judgments of last March 10, meanwhile, has welcomed the two appeals lodged by Stradeblu respectively against Moby Spa, Tirrenia di Navigazione Spa, Spa SNAV hydrofoils, Grandi Navi Veloci Spa, Armament Sardo Ltd and Sat Auxiliary Ferry Service and Consulting Ltd. and against Moby Spa and Armament Sardo Ltd for the annulment of the measures of the Port of Olbia and Golfo Aranci on the planning of the berths for the years 2010 and 2009.
- Since May of 2009 and its director Virgilio Stradeblu Cimaschi opposed to the Port Authority lamenting the closure of the port of Olbia for maritime services to the port of Livorno ferry passengers and goods.
- The Tar Sardinia noted that the holder of jurisdiction over the berths within the port and their schedules is the Harbour and that the address given in the guidelines of the Port Authority on the planning of the berths, which affirms the principle of "preference" granted to those companies and lines that ensure a regular and continuous connection (365 days per year) and from the continent and that of the continuous presence over the years by the owner, tends "to perpetrate a privileged position, in contrast with the need to ensure to the new economic actors in the market in question the possibility of providing services under the same conditions as the competitors, the possibility clearly inherent in the principle of free competition in the market. In that way - said the court - the act of address qualifies as administrative barriers to the development of competition in the market. "
- NCTM Law Firm, which has supported with its own dedicated team led by the shipping partner Alberto Rossi, assisted by Sara Dameri all cases brought by Stradeblu, announced that the company has opened an additional front court with the Court of Appeals of Sassari aims to bring the violation of competition law committed by the port of Olbia in rejecting the provision, at the building of the Maritime Station, a local ticket, like its competitors.
